Time Waste, Justice Delayed

Time Waste , Justice Delayed For Rohingya

No ointment is enough for solving the Rohingya crisis permanently but only free and independent Arakan land can solve over one thousand years' long ethnic problem. The Rohingya Muslims are patriotic and they love their country and the national flag also. Once the Burmese Buddhists and Muslims fought unitedly for their country's freedom. Muslim leader Abdul Razak was one of the chief political associates of Aung San Suu Kyi's father General Aung San. On 19th July, 1947 Abdul Razak, Aung San and 4 other leaders were killed. The day is observed as Myanmar's Martyr Day. In May, 1936 M. A. Raschid was elected the first ever president of "All Burma Federation of Students' Unions" ( Rangoon University Students' Association - R.U.S.U. ). Burma got its freedom on 4th January, 1948 and thereafter so many Muslims were elected as M.P. for the Parliament such as Sultan Mahamud, Abdul Bashar, Abdul Gaffar, Zohora Begum, Samsul Anwar, Noor Ahmed and others. But now all of these are found merely to adorn the history book. In fact, since 1982 the Rohingya's citizenship, right to property, right to parliament, right to existence - all have been denied by Myanmar's Military or Democratic authorities. Recently for their survival, the Rohingya youths are compelled to form Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (A.R.S.A.) . On August 25, 2017 some A.R.S.A. members attacked on the Myanmar's Border Guard Police post and killed 9 security personnel. Thereafter, organized mass killing against the Rohingya Muslims are going on savagely. The children are being beheaded, men, women, the old all are being killed brutally by the Myanmar Army , Police and Buddhist Terrorist. The women are raped, their breasts are cutout alive with sword, crop-fields are burnt by the Myanmar Army and its accomplices. To do these activities the wild beast will also be shameful.

According to a report published by the International Organization for Migration revealed that 1.9 million Rohingya Muslims are forced to leave their country in 47 years since last 1970 which is 84 percent and the rest 16 percent ( i.e. 0.3 million ) Rohingya are passing their extreme uncertain life in Myanmar. Leaving motherland the Rohingya have taken shelter in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and India. The European Commission says at the beginning of 2017 there were 0.8 million Rohingya Muslims in Arakan (or presently Rakhine State). The U.N.O. reports that after beginning the newly atrocity in last 5 weeks at least 0.51 million (5.10 lakh) Rohingya fled to Bangladesh as refugee. The Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Abul Hassan Mahamud Ali says that in last 37 days 3000 Rohingya Muslims were killed including old-men-women-children.

History says that Arakan is one of the such states where the Muslims first ever established their settlement under Indian subcontinent and South-East Asian countries. They established their rule in Arakan in 1430 and the rule lasted over 200 years. In 1660, Arakan King Sanda Thudhamma treacherouly killed Mughal Prince Shah Suja along with his family who took shelter in his kingdom. In 1966, Mughal subahdar and a general in the Mughal army Shaista Khan, eliminate the mug pirates from Arakan. In 1782, Burma king Bodawpaya captured Arakan state and killed a large number of Muslims.

Thus Rohingya crisis has gone up. It is known to us that Israel is gifted to the Jews by the British in 1948. However, if U.N.O. is failed to take any action against Myanmar then the O.I.C. should have to call its urgent meeting over the Rohingya tragedy. And if it is needed then the O.I.C. may have to decide for taking military action against Myanmar. Though O.I.C. did not do that type of action earlier. And obviously Bangladesh Government should have to agree to allow their land for this noble humanitarian purpose. Today Bangladesh is much self-sufficient, that is why Bangladesh Government should have to take technical strategy to choose their real friend and it should strengthen its relationship with O.I.C. and its member countries. Otherwise, Bangladesh will be the most sufferer for this Rohingya tragedy as Bangladesh is religiously the nearest neighbor to the Rohingya of Myanmar. Though some humanitarian aid are being sent for the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, India etc. But it is mysterious to us why is the world community standing deaf and dumb. On 3rd October, 2017 Kyaw Tint Swe, Incumbent Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor of Myanmar , has given promise to Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahamud Ali that the Rohingya refugee will be taken back to Myanmar. But the expert says it is merely a new plan. And it is just like the devil's spirit that seeks a lame excuse. So Myanmar should not be given any opportunity to fulfill its future blueprint.

We know the snake is uncoiled and straight with the help of stick. So strong action is needed against Myanmar.  But who will bell the cat ?
